Method: He obtained his victims easily, as he was a police deputy. He hung a noose round their necks, raped them and bound them. He shot them with a .22 weapon.

Sentence: He was given two life terms for the 1st degree murder of Susan and Georgia.

Interesting facts: The last four offences all occurred whilst he was on bail for the false imprisonment and aggravated assault of two girls.

Schaefer was hacked to death by a fellow inmate in Florida State Prison in 2001.
